Bakewell & Eyam Community Transport

Bakewell & Eyam Community Transport  is a charity operating from Bakewell in the Derbyshire Peak District providing flexible, efficient and caring travel services for people of all ages and backgrounds in Bakewell, Matlock, BuxtonHope Valley and High Peak areas.

The support we receive enables us to provide vital community transport services for vulnerable people to live more fulfilling lives by providing access to health services, education and social activities.

Community Transport is at the heart of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District and we offer easy-access minibuses and vehicles for all needs with regular and friendly fully trained drivers for:

  • Door to door minibus transport for home-to-town trips for people who find public transport difficult to use and for outings to help people stay socially active and independent.

  • Group minibus transport for local charities, community groups and clubs, for home to school transport solutions and social care contracts. We provide group transport for one off journeys and contract work.

  • Individual car travel for health related journeys – one to one car transport tailored to individual needs enabling people with age, illness or restricted mobility to attend appointments such as doctors, dentists and other health related appointments.
