A series of talks By Garden Historian Camilla Anderson exploring the gardens of the British aristocracy.
This talk will discuss the gardens of the Dukes of Devonshire and Northumberland: Chatsworth, Chiswick, Syon and Alnwick.
This illustrated talk explores the developments in the above gardens and how successive generations have adapted the sites to reflect the changing fashions – from Bess of Hardwick in the 16th century to the 21st century and the gardens at Alnwick Castle.
