Haddon Medieval Park: Parkland Walk

May 9 @ 10:30 am 12:00 pm

Duration: 2-3 hours walking at a leisurely pace with frequent stops for observation

The Medieval Park at Haddon Hall is a rare treasure, comprising 187 hectares of ancient pasture, woodlands, water meadows and river banks. In medieval times it was the private deer park for Haddon Hall and would have been essential in providing timber for building and firewood for heating and cooking, as well as hunting for food and leisure. Now it is managed entirely organically and its rich mosaic of habitats offers a safe haven for wildlife, including many rare and endangered species.

Parkland Walk: £29.00 per person (not suitable for children under 12 yrs)
Booking essential
Parking: £3.80 (contactless payment at exit barrier when leaving)
