SUMMARY:Matlock Bath Illuminations 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Matlock Bath Illuminations run through September and October\, with illuminated boats travelling along the River Derwent after dark. \n\n\n\nFollowing the preview night on 12 September\, the 2026 season continues every Saturday and Sunday from 19 September until 1 November\, with an additional evening on Friday 30 October. The event runs from around 6pm to 9pm. \n\n\n\nThe illuminated boats are the distinctive feature of the event\, with models built and decorated by the Matlock Bath Venetian Boat Builders’ Association. \n\n\n\nThere are fantastic firework displays every Saturday in October\, plus the final night\, Sunday 1 November. The fireworks light up the skies around Matlock Bath in multi-colours.
