Join Karen as she walks you through her unique method of creating vibrant summer flowers. On smooth A5 Yupo paper, you will be combining inks with splashes of alcohol to create your own beautiful artwork. Everyone is welcome in this workshop, from complete beginners to seasoned pros; we’ll be there to support you every step of the way. The process is lovely and liberating, and it’s full of delightful surprises! Come spend the morning creating something unique in a warm and inviting setting; we’ll supply everything else.
This mindful session will leave you with an A5 piece of artwork to frame at home, a newfound skill and knowledge of alcohol inks that you can use to explore them further, and a feeling of relaxation and calm.

Meet the instructor:
Millie Moth is run by local artist Karen Johnson, who works out of her home studio in Allestree, Derby, to produce vibrant floral artwork. The joy Karen feels in her garden inspires her to use flowing alcohol inks to capture the essence of plants and flowers, capturing their colour, movement, and movement. In addition to teaching workshops all over Derbyshire and the neighbouring areas, she frequently sells big canvas prints and greeting cards featuring her vibrant artwork at art trails and markets.
