Bakewell Christmas Market takes place across Market Street, Granby Road and Riverside Crescent on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November.

More than 100 stalls and gazebos are expected, with Christmas gifts, crafts, food and drink from traders based in Bakewell and elsewhere in Derbyshire and the Peak District. Entertainment is also planned during the weekend.

Unlike Chatsworth Christmas Market, this event takes place directly in Bakewell town centre and there is no admission charge.

Getting there and parking

Bakewell can become very busy during Christmas Market weekend. Visitors travelling by car are advised to use the larger parking areas around the town, including the Agricultural Business Centre off Agricultural Way (DE45 1AH). The organisers also recommend considering public transport, particularly at peak times.
